My professional and journeyman experience encompasses more than 40 years in the construction industry. I entered the construction sector as a wood and metal framer in 1980. That experience convinced me that I can excel in this multi-sectored industry and enjoy a wonderful, satisfying career.

The foundation of my career is the understanding that teamwork, proper planning, layout, leadership, communication, responsibility, quality, and attention to detail, are all key elements for the creation and delivery of all projects, small and large.

From this foundation I have excelled and advanced from tradesman to crew leader, then structural superintendent, general superintendent, project manager, and owner of several businesses in subcontracting, general contracting, and land development. I have also held leadership positions for large real estate and construction corporations, in both the residential and commercial fields.

I have had my successes and challenges, and that is how we all gain the golden word of EXPERIENCE!

When I started to combine my hands-on trade experience with my construction management experience and focused on consulting construction design... I found that my clients can gain the benefit of my lifetime experiences.

My strongest attribute is overcoming challenges.

Maintaining positive morale throughout the project is especially important to me. I am highly creative, highly detailed, and organized. As a result, industry leaders have called me when they have a project that is in trouble that needs to be re-focused and or turned around.

I have seen and experienced the good and the not-so-good sides of this industry. Both sides have given me the humility, experience, and confidence to be a great seasoned construction manager, building designer, and corporate real estate development leader.
